About Us
Peake Brook Veterinary Center is a proudly veterinarian owned and operated facility.
Open late summer 2021, our 6,500 square foot, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic – in Woodstock, Connecticut – is conveniently located approximately 1-hour from Boston, Hartford, and Providence.
Peake Brook is situated on 4 park-like acres, surrounded by beautiful farm land.
The clinic features a large reception area with amazing views, a refreshment station, and separate waiting areas for cats and dogs.
Peake Brook offers six exam rooms – all tastefully decorated and well-lit with large fold up exam tables.
Peake Brook has a separate euthanasia suite, with private entrance. The euthanasia suite also functions as an isolation exam room for potentially contagious patients. All walls are insulated for noise reduction and privacy.
Peake Brook Veterinary Center has a dedicated surgery wing, including separate surgery entrance with dedicated parking for surgical intake and discharge.
Our two spacious surgery rooms offer beautiful natural light as well as dual-headed LED exam lights. Oxygen and waste gas are plumbed throughout the surgery wing. Surgery tables are heated with foot pedals for easy patient adjustability.
Each room in the surgery wing has large viewing windows for constant patient monitoring and special wool insulation for soundproofing.
To minimize stress, cats and dogs have separate accommodations: The Dog House and the Kitty Corner.
The radiology room is in close proximity to the operating rooms and furnished with digital radiography. It has a 4-way float table for easy patient adjustment.
There is a separate dental suite with digital dental radiography.
The Dog House accommodates canine friends of varying sizes.
For smaller dogs, Peake Brook offers three different size stainless steel cages, while dog runs allow our larger patients to rest comfortably as well.
The Kitty Corner features multiple spacious, fear-free kitty condos designed to make our feline friends as happy as possible.
Each cage has a perch and divider – allowing flexibility in housing depending upon individual needs.
We have a fully equipped lab with IDEXX equipment. We also have daily pickup from IDEXX.
Peake Brook offers a fully stocked, on-site pharmacy and a selection of specialty foods.
For convenient home delivery, clients also have access to our online pharmacy and accounts for prescription foods.
